A Prayer to Belief God’s Unfailing Love

Human love usually falls quick. We’ve all skilled heartache when somebody’s actions or phrases didn’t meet our expectations. Whether or not it’s the sting of rejection, the ache of betrayal, or just the absence of care, our hearts can really feel empty and eager for one thing extra. However God’s love is totally different. Not like human love, His love is ideal, steadfast, and unfailing.

Psalm 136 reminds us of this reality with its repeated chorus: “God’s love by no means fails.” Technology after technology has skilled His faithfulness, and His love for us stays as fixed and inexhaustible as ever. After we really feel empty or unloved, we are able to look again on God’s provision in our personal lives and within the tales of Scripture. His love fills each void, heals each wound, and overflows so we are able to share it with others. In a world of fleeting affections, God’s love is the one factor we are able to belief to by no means change.

Let’s Pray:

Father, my coronary heart has been damaged by the imperfections of human love, and I confess that I typically doubt Your love in these moments. However You’ve confirmed again and again that Your love is fixed and by no means fails. Thank You for the methods You’ve proven me Your faithfulness and care. Assist me to belief in Your unfailing love, even when my coronary heart feels empty. Fill me with Your love so utterly that it overflows into the lives of others. Remind me that Your love is the one love that may really fulfill. In Jesus’ title, amen.
