Greatest Paleo Pecan Pie – The Peaceable Haven


For the file, I am keen on pie!  Anybody else?  I’m so excited to share with you the long-awaited Paleo Pecan Pie recipe!  It certain was enjoyable to check and check out new renditions of the standard Pecan Pie.   I hope you’ll take pleasure in this recipe as a lot as my household does!  ENJOY!

This recipe is gluten-free, Paleo, grain-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free!

 

Greatest Paleo Pecan Pie

Serves 8

3/4 cup chopped pecans

3/4 cup uncooked honey

3 giant eggs

¼ cup ghee (melted)

1 tsp gluten-free vanilla extract

1/4 cup arrowroot flour

½ tsp salt

1 pie shell (paleo pie crust recipe under)

24 pecan halves (to embellish the highest of the pie)

 

 

DIRECTION

  1. Put together the recipe for the Cassava Flour Pie Crust and refrigerate for one hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 levels.
  3. Butter a 9″ deep-dish pie plate with ghee and press the rolled out pie crust into the pie plate.
  4. In a big bowl, add the date paste and maple syrup and blend on low pace.  One ingredient at a time, add the eggs, melted ghee, gluten-free vanilla extract, and salt. Combine till the batter is nicely included.

Cassava Flour Pie Crust

2 ¼ cups cassava flour

1/4 tsp salt

¾ cup chilly butter or chilly ghee

8 Tbsp ice chilly water

 

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Whisk the salt and the cassava flour in a mixing bowl.  Add butter and utilizing a pastry cutter, minimize the cassava flour and butter till the biggest items of butter resemble oatmeal.
