A Prayer When You Really feel Spiritually Dry

Final January, I hit a wall spiritually. It wasn’t sudden; it crept up on me. One thing needed to give between my daughter’s volleyball tournaments, a piece deadline that had me up late working three nights in a row, and different household circumstances. And sadly, for a number of weeks, it was my time with God. Some mornings, I would catch myself “ending” my devotional time with out remembering what I would just learn. My prayer journal entries shrank from paragraphs to bullet factors to nothing. The heat I often felt throughout worship did not really feel very heat.
What made it worse was the guilt. As somebody who teaches and encourages others of their religion journey, I felt like a fraud. How might I information others when my non secular nicely had run dry?
