Hymn: “Constructing Day by Day” by Fanny Crosby

0

Building Day by Day

We’re constructing in sorrow
And constructing in pleasure
A temple the world can not see,
However we all know it should stand
If we discovered it on a rock,
Thro’ the ages of eternity.

We’re constructing daily,
Because the moments glide away,
Our temple, which the world could not see;
Each victory received by grace
Will be sure you discover its place,
In our constructing for eternity.

Each deed kinds a component
On this constructing of ours
That’s performed within the identify of the Lord;
For the love that we present
And the kindness we bestow
He has promised us a vivid reward.

Then be watchful and clever;
Let the temple we rear
Be one which no tempest can shock,
For the Grasp has mentioned
And He taught us in His Phrase
We should construct upon the strong rock.
