Pakistan: A Nationwide Day Towards Abducting Women

Christian leaders in Pakistan have launched a Nationwide Day Towards Abduction and Pressured Conversion of Women. They’re calling for Christian church buildings in Pakistan to focus their sermons on the difficulty on Could 26.

The Protestant Nationwide Council of Church buildings, Catholic Bishops’ Convention of Pakistan, the Common Meeting of the Presbyterian Church, and the Christian Awakening Motion are calling for a nationwide day of protest towards the kidnapping, compelled conversion, and compelled marriage of Christian ladies.

Annually, a whole lot of Christian and Hindu ladies are kidnapped. They’re sexually abused, forcibly transformed to Islam, and compelled to marry their kidnapper. Most of the ladies are under-age however their abductors, who’re often a lot older and already married, declare they’re older.

Radical Islamic clerics sanction the crimes.  Judges routinely settle for solid marriage certificates over beginning certificates, ignore the women’ testimonies that they don’t wish to convert, and hand the women over to the abductors.

Pray for:

Women to be returned to their households and healed from the trauma.

Judges and police to carry justice towards the criminals and rescue the captives.

Pakistan’s tradition to vary to guard Christian ladies from kidnappings, false conversions, and compelled marriages.
