I’ve had moments within the my religion journey when I’ve puzzled, “The place are you, God? Do you see what’s occurring? Why do you are feeling so distant?”

Many occasions in my life, I’ve struggled to select up my devotional or Bible as a result of I didn’t like what God allowed (like most cancers, coronary heart failure…), didn’t agree with it, and finally it was ME, not selecting to really feel His presence. It wasn’t God who was absent or distant, it was ME. It was me not TRUSTING GOD. God was there the entire time, ready with open arms, however I wasn’t selecting to run to him.
I don’t learn about you, however I wish to THRIVE on this life. However to be able to try this, I have to embrace Him in HIS will, not mine. I have to TRUST in His will, and never mine. It’s exhausting to be disheartened with our circumstances once we are grateful. Grateful for God’s presence, grateful for His provision, and grateful for His love.
In pursuing God, we get out what we put in. Similar to a relationship – when somebody feels distant, we make that telephone name to reconnect. God is not any totally different! The one distinction is that he has all the time been holding the telephone, He’s simply ready for us to select it up once more.
